Jack Out of the Box Designs provides a variety of website design services for small businesses, organizations and individual professionals, including speakers, coaches, consultants and artists who are looking for assistance in creating a new website or redesigning an existing one. We team with do-it-yourself clients who want to handle some of the process themselves, but also work with those who want us to handle the project heft from start to finish.
planning
We help you scope out your project goals and possible site features. Based on your input, we develop a project mission, highlight your desired site visitors and draft a site map with site navigational structure, along with a proposed timeline and fee structure. We keep the entire project on schedule with deadlines for the client and the development team.
design
Using new or existing branding, we develop potential home and secondary page designs based on your site visitors' needs and your overall marketing mission. During the design process, we typically create up to three initial designs with up to three revision stages before the coding is set to begin.
coding
We turn our original designs or your submitted designs into interactive websites, coding with clean HTML and CSS. We build the site on your existing or our supported hosting servers either as strict HTML sites or in database-driven CMS platforms. We work with jQuery for more dynamic website features.
cms
Sites built with Content Management Systems put you and your staff in the drivers' seat for continued site maintenance, as well as allow our team share in your continued site growth. We build and support sites using two trusted CMS platforms, WordPress and CMSMadeSimple.
copywriting
Struggling to write or edit your own site copy? We team with you and our recommended copywriters to draft and fine-tune clean and concise site text for your new or redesigned site that follows your marketing mission with your target audience in mind.
seo
We code and develop all websites with Search Engine Optimization in mind, highlighting your desired keywords in title tags and alt tags, and throughout your site copy. We integrate Google Analytics into your site so you can follow site statistics and set goals after site launch. Additional SEO marketing help and keyword targeting is also available.
Hosting
We offer one-year and two-year hosting packages for clients using iPowerWeb's hosting servers. Clients who host through our reseller services receive one-on-one assistance in setting up emails and understanding the hosting control panel, and receive discounts in supporting any CMS software upgrades.
domains
We register and follow up on annual renewals of desired and already-registered URLs for our hosting clients. We work with clients to transfer existing domains to our supported servers, if desired.
maintenance
We offer as-needed design and coding support as well as maintenance packages for clients who desire our support after official site launch. Clients can pay per request or take advantage of discounted semi-annual plans for site assistance and support.

Many of our clients rely on our talent and experience on a regular basis for a consistent, uniform and professional look on all their materials.
newsletters
We team up with several universities, small businesses and non-profits regularly to produce print-ready 4-, 6-, 8- and 12-page newsletters for their various of audiences using a clean and style-based look.
one-sheets/flyers
Our speaker, consultant and trainer clients rely on our insight and direction to create successful 1- and 2-page one-sheets and flyers to market their talents services in a consistent, branded manner.
business cards
Using new or existing branding, we create a solid and professional business card designs to complement your other branded materials. We will upload the files to a designated printer or supply the print-ready files directly to you.
stationery/letterhead
Depending on your computer's available software, we can create both electronic letterhead on which you can draft and print as well as the more traditional, pre-printed stationery and matching envelopes.
invitations/Notecards
Depending on your theme and occassion, we work with you to create unique and creative designs to promote birthdays, showers, weddings and other events, as well as complementary thank you notes to match.
postcards
We create standard and oversized postcards for small business and non-profit clients, and will upload supplied mailing lists through mailing services offered by VistaPrint and Modern Postcard, if desired. We will also supply the print-ready files directly to you.
books
We work with authors wanting to self-publish books, by assisting with cover design and interior layout. Should you desire content help, we can suggest trusted writers and editors. (Note to first-timers: Before printing your book, you'll want to be sure to register for ISBN for your title.)
program booklets
We regularly team up with organizations, non-profits and event planners looking for booklets and programs professionally designs and branded to match the style of their events and performances.
brochures
We help clients hoping to showcase their products or services with tri-fold and quad-fold brochure designs. These marketing pieces can be designs as standalone pieces or in complement with other printed or online marketing items.
